Welcome to Rainbow Beach Care Center located in Chicago, IL. We are a specialized mental health rehabilitation facility located in the historic South Shore neighborhood, just 2 blocks west of South Shore Drive.

Rainbow Beach Care Center is committed to providing a comprehensive approach to psychiatric and mental health rehabilitation and offers skills groups seven days a week. In a continuing effort to rebalance the manner in which mental health services are provided within the State of Illinois, the Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (S.M.H.R.F.) program has been established. The purpose of this program is to make available additional supports and services to individuals who might otherwise have been referred into the long-term care system.

The team at Rainbow Beach Care Center manages each resident’s treatment and continuity of care according to the individual’s goals to assist with successful community living. Our comprehensive services include regular physician and psychiatrist visits. We also provide a variety of skills training and therapeutic programs to enhance stability and personal growth. Rainbow Beach is a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility, licensed to provide comprehensive psychiatric rehabilitation services and discharge planning.
